Douglas Machines' rack, pan and container washers come in a variety of styles and capacities. Installed in a pit or used with a ramp or dolly, these washers come complete with special "roll in" wash racks that are either standard or custom designed to hold your specific containers. If desired, you can also wash empty oven or storage racks.
The ideal rack, pan and container washer for you depends on the type and quantity of items to be washed, the type of soils to be removed, the desired wash time, heating options, flexibility for future needs, space limitations and budget considerations.
Wash water is pumped through rotating spray arms fitted with high velocity stainless steel V jets designed to cut and remove stubborn soils. Wash cycles are selected from a short, medium or long sequence (4, 6 or 8 minutes) depending on soil conditions. Each wash cycle is followed by a 30 second hot water, sanitizing rinse. The rinse water is routed back into the wash tank for reuse and to help freshen it. An optional steam extraction fan vacates the steam before the door is opened. Filters collect debris and keep the nozzles from clogging. Machines are equipped with electric, gas or steam booster heaters to maintain proper operating temperatures. Some models are available with second doors for pass-through operation.
